This Policy explains how subscriptions to Gay Fans Guide work, how to cancel, and when refunds are available. It is part of our Terms of Service.
1. Subscription tiers
- Free tier: no charge; no payment information required. You can stop using it at any time.
- Paid tier(s): billed on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly or annually) through our payment processor, TBD. Pricing and billing frequency are shown before you purchase.
2. Auto-renewal
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, until you cancel. We will disclose renewal terms at checkout and, where required by law, send renewal reminders.
3. How to cancel
You may cancel at any time:
- from your account dashboard under [Account → Subscription → Cancel]; and/or
- by emailing support@gayfansguide.com with your account details.
Cancellation stops future renewals. Your access to paid content continues until the end of the current paid period, after which your account reverts to the Free tier. Canceling is as easy as subscribing, consistent with applicable consumer-protection rules.
4. Refunds
Because paid subscriptions provide immediate access to digital content, fees are generally non-refundable, including for partial billing periods, except:
- where a refund is required by applicable law (some jurisdictions provide statutory cancellation/withdrawal rights);
- where you were charged in error or double-charged;
- at our discretion, on a case-by-case basis.
To request a refund, email support@gayfansguide.com within [14] days of the charge with your account details and the reason. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through TBD.
5. Free-trial or promotional offers (if offered)
If we offer a free trial or discounted introductory period, we will disclose when it ends and what you’ll be charged afterward. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged. [Remove if you don’t offer trials.]
6. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we may retry the charge and/or suspend paid access until payment succeeds. Prolonged non-payment may result in cancellation.
7. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first at support@gayfansguide.com so we can resolve it quickly. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in account termination. Fraudulent chargebacks may be disputed with evidence of access and these Terms.
